Toy Robot Video has announced its September 2026 lineup is now up for pre-order. Here's the full month, ordered by US release date.
Roaring Fire (1981)
Roaring Fire is a wild 80s martial arts action comedy, and Toy Robot Video is bringing it to Blu-ray for the first time in the UK and US. Texas-raised rancher Joji learns of a twin brother he never knew, travels to Japan to find him, and uncovers his uncle's criminal dealings instead. Norifumi Suzuki directs, and the cast pairs Hiroyuki Sanada with Sonny Chiba alongside Etsuko Shihomi and wrestler Abdullah the Butcher. The same Chiba and Sanada pairing turns up in G.I. Guyver: Dark Hero (1994)
Guyver: Dark Hero makes its UK and US Blu-ray debut with a new master. The 2-disc set carries two cuts of the film: the original 1994 version and an Enhanced version with new special effects. Sean Barker returns to settle business with the Zoanoids and stumbles onto an alien ship full of world-destroying weapons at a Utah dig. Steve Wang directs, with David Hayter in the lead. Masters of the Universe (1987)
Toy Robot Video presents a newly unearthed Preview Cut of Masters of the Universe on home video for the first time, featuring new and extended scenes plus alternate takes. The 2-disc remastered release arrives in two formats, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD. He-Man (Dolph Lundgren) and a group of freedom fighters are transported to Earth, where they battle Skeletor (Frank Langella) for control of Planet Eternia and the Cosmic Key. Gary Goddard directs, and the cast includes Meg Foster, Courteney Cox, and Chelsea Field. It releases September 15, 2026 in the US and Canada. Marshmallow
Marshmallow is Daniel DelPurgatorio's feature debut, a summer camp slasher with a smart, stylish streak and a shocking final reveal. A shy 12-year-old named Morgan is sent off to a secluded camp, where a campfire tale about a psychotic doctor turns real. He and his new friends must confront the figure stalking the grounds. Corbin Bernsen co-stars, and the Blu-ray collects two of DelPurgatorio's short films. Fans of indie slashers with a memorable masked killer should also look at Laid to Rest, Last Slate Video's edition of the ChromeSkull cult favorite. Ninja Wars (1982)
Ninja Wars, originally titled Iga Ninpocho, is a dark supernatural ninja film set in feudal Japan. It blends ninja lore with horror and fantasy, and it stands as an entry in early 80s Japanese genre cinema known for stylized violence and shocking supernatural elements. Jotaro, a wandering ninja, is drawn into a deadly clan conflict tied to a demonic sect chasing power through forbidden rituals.
