Shout! Studios Brings the Aces Go Places Series to 4K for the First Time

Shout! Studios is releasing the Aces Go Places Collection on 4K UHD and Blu-ray, under its Hong Kong Cinema Classics line. The box set holds all five films across 10 discs, and every film comes to 4K UHD for the first time. Each one is presented in Dolby Vision from a new 4K scan of its original camera negative, restored by Shout! Studios in 2026.
The franchise dates to 1982 and stars Sam Hui, Karl Maka and Sylvia Chang. Ringo Lam, Tsui Hark, Lau Kar-Leung and Eric Tsang Chi-Wai directed across the series. It arrives alongside other Shout! Hong Kong 4K box sets such as A Better Tomorrow. Shout! Studios will release the set on September 1, 2026.
