Scream Factory will release My Bloody Valentine Limited Edition 4K UHD + Blu-ray SteelBook on January 26, 2027. The 3-disc set has both the uncut and theatrical versions of My Bloody Valentine (1981), with the uncut version in a 4K restoration in Dolby Vision. George Mihalka directed the slasher, and he recorded the commentary on the uncut version.
About My Bloody Valentine (1981)
Twenty years after a Valentine’s Day tragedy, a small town prepares for its annual holiday dance. When a box of candy arrives containing an eerie warning and a blood-soaked heart, the townsfolk realize that this Valentine’s Day romance is as good as dead.
The same discs as the Collector’s Edition
My Bloody Valentine Limited Edition 4K UHD + Blu-ray SteelBook uses the same discs as the Scream Factory Collector’s Edition, the label’s earlier 4K UHD release of the film. Every extra on that edition comes over unchanged. The SteelBook packaging is the only new part, so a collector who owns the Collector’s Edition already has the restoration, the commentary and the interviews.
