Scream Factory is releasing Day of the Dead (1985) on 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray in June. This 40th Anniversary Edition features a 4K restoration from the interpositive, presented in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.
Film and Release Overview
Directed by George A. Romero, Day of the Dead follows a small group of scientists and soldiers who have taken refuge in an underground missile silo where they struggle to control the flesh-eating horror that walks the earth above.
The 40th Anniversary Edition is a four-disc set containing a 4K UHD and Blu-ray of the feature film, a Blu-ray with the feature-length documentary, and a Blu-ray dedicated to special features.
Video and Audio Specs
The 4K UHD disc features Dolby Vision HDR. The restoration is sourced from the interpositive.
The audio is presented in Dolby Atmos.
