Stone Cold 4K UHD from Kino Lorber

Kino Lorber is releasing Stone Cold (1991) on 4K UHD and Blu-ray in April as part of its KL Studio Classics line.

Film and Release Overview

Directed by Craig R. Baxley, Stone Cold (1991) stars Brian Bosworth as an undercover police officer sent to dismantle a violent biker gang operating in Mississippi. The investigation quickly escalates as the gang’s activities expand from organized crime into targeted attacks on public officials.

The release is a 2-disc set that includes a 4K UHD disc and a standard Blu-ray disc, each sourced from new restorations.

Video and Audio Specs

The 4K UHD disc features a brand new HDR and Dolby Vision master created from a 4K scan of the 35mm original camera negative. The disc is authored on a triple-layered UHD100.

The Blu-ray disc includes a brand new HD master, also sourced from the 4K scan of the 35mm original camera negative, and is authored on a dual-layered BD50.

Both discs include 5.1 surround and lossless 2.0 audio options, along with optional English subtitles.

Release Date

The Stone Cold 4K UHD and Blu-ray will release on April 21, 2026.

This release follows Kino Lorber’s other announcement for The Phantom (1996) 4K UHD and Blu-ray, which is also set to arrive in April.
