UFOria 4K UHD and Blu-ray from Kino Lorber

Kino Lorber is releasing UFOria 4K UHD in March under its KL Studio Classics line. The release marks the first appearance of the film on 4K UHD and Blu-ray formats and will be issued as a 2-disc set consisting of one 4K UHD disc and one Blu-ray disc.

Film Overview

UFOria is an offbeat romantic comedy centered on small-time con men, faith healing, and a woman whose belief in UFOs reshapes a rural community. The film stars Cindy Williams as Arlene, Fred Ward as drifter Sheldon Bart, and Harry Dean Stanton as Brother Bud.

The story follows Sheldon as he reunites with Brother Bud at a revival tent and becomes involved in a scheme built around Arlene’s vision of a coming UFO landing. The narrative blends religious revivalism, rural Americana, and speculative belief into a character-driven comedy.

Video and Audio Specs

The 4K UHD presentation is sourced from a new HDR and Dolby Vision master created from a 4K scan of the 35mm original camera negative. The Blu-ray disc features a brand new HD master derived from the same 4K scan.

The release includes a triple-layered UHD100 disc and a dual-layered BD50 disc. Optional English subtitles are included on both the 4K UHD and Blu-ray discs.
