About Silent Night, Deadly Night 3 – 5 (1989 – 1991)
Christmas-obsessed killer Ricky Caldwell awakens from a coma in SNDN 3: Better Watch Out (1989), and then begins to stalk a blind teenager with psychic powers. Starring Bill Moseley, it also features Richard Beymer and Eric Da Re mere months before the premiere of Twin Peaks, and the future Mulholland Drive star Laura Harring.
Directed by horror maestro Brian Yuzna, SNDN 4: Initiation (1990) includes special effects by legendary cult Japanese artist Screaming Mad George, and follows a journalist who gets mixed up in a sect of Lilith-worshipping witches preparing for a sacrificial ritual.
SNDN 5: The Toy Maker (1991) stars Mickey Rooney as Joe Petto, an elderly toy maker whose killer creations have deadly consequences for his customers.
