Imprint Films is releasing Supercar: The Complete Series on Blu-ray this year under their Imprint Television line. The five-disc set is spine #33 in the Imprint Television catalog and brings Gerry and Sylvia Anderson’s pioneering Supermarionation series to high definition for the first time.
The release is limited to 1,500 copies with a street date of January 7, 2026.
The series
Supercar aired on ITV from 1961 to 1962. Gerry and Sylvia Anderson created the series at AP Films.
The series follows pilot Mike Mercury as he operates the experimental aircraft Supercar. Professor Popkiss designed the vehicle. Dr. Beaker provides technical support and comic relief.
Supercar pioneered the Anderson’s Supermarionation technique. This method combined electronic marionette puppetry with scale model special effects. The technique later defined Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet, and other Anderson productions.

The set contains five discs with all episodes from the complete series. The limited edition hardbox packaging includes a 48-page hardcover booklet.
