Unearthed Films is releasing Legion of the Dead (2009) on Blu-ray as a two-disc limited collector’s edition on July 14, 2026. Directed by Olaf Ittenbach, the film follows William and his sidekick Luke on a desert road trip through California that leads them into a small town where a mysterious tall blond man and his sadistic henchmen are killing people to build a legion of the dead.
The set pairs the unrated festival producer’s cut, which includes a full set of extras including a commentary from Ittenbach and the composer, with a separate director’s cut disc. That version runs longer at 108 minutes and adds a German-language option not present in the producer’s cut.
