Shameless Films has announced the upcoming release of The House With Laughing Windows on 4K UHD Blu-ray and standard Blu-ray. The Italian classic from director Pupi Avati will be available beginning Dec. 1, 2025.
This release joins a strong slate of late-year titles for collectors, following recent announcements like Vinegar Syndrome’s October 2025 Blu-ray & 4K slate and Imprint Films’ November 2025 Blu-ray lineup.
A disturbing mystery in rural Italy
Art restorer Stefano (Lino Capolicchio, The Garden of the Finzi-Continis) travels to a crumbling church in the Italian countryside to restore a forgotten fresco of Saint Sebastian. What begins as routine work soon leads him into a mystery surrounding the painter’s death.
Avati’s film emphasizes psychological unease and atmosphere, concluding with a memorable finale.
