Exotic Material released Eternity’s Pillar on Blu-ray on July 22, 2026. Exotic Material issued the two-disc collection in association with Alliance Entertainment in the United States and Elevation Sales in the United Kingdom.
The region-free Eternity’s Pillar Blu-ray contains 17 television episodes from 1985 to 1988. The two-disc set also contains a 1970 Black Journal segment and a full-color 80-page book.
What is Alice Coltrane’s Eternity’s Pillar
KTTV Channel 11 began broadcasting Eternity’s Pillar in Los Angeles in 1985. KTTV Channel 11 scheduled Eternity’s Pillar every Sunday after midnight.
The 17 surviving Eternity’s Pillar episodes span 1985 to 1988. The 17 episodes contain 514 minutes of devotional teaching, meditation, and music from Alice Coltrane.
The Coltrane archive preserved the broadcast master tapes. Exotic Material sourced the Blu-ray presentations from the Coltrane archive masters.

Black Journal #26: Alice Coltrane, A Love Supreme is a 15-minute television documentary from 1970. The production filmed the documentary on 16mm film.
The documentary interviews Alice Coltrane at the Coltrane family home in Dix Hills, New York. Alice Coltrane recorded most of the Impulse! albums at the Dix Hills home.
The documentary also shows Alice Coltrane performing in Glen Cove. Pharoah Sanders, Reggie Workman, Bill Wood, and Rashied Ali join Alice Coltrane during the Glen Cove performance.
Exotic Material added new optional English subtitles to the documentary.
