A Chinese Ghost Story Trilogy Heads to Blu-ray in a Limited Edition From Imprint Films

Imprint Films is releasing A Chinese Ghost Story Trilogy on Blu-ray this February under its Imprint Asia line. The Limited Edition package includes all three films in a SteelBook case housed inside a hardbox, along with a 60-page hardcover booklet. Each film has been restored from new 4K scans of the original camera negatives.
The release highlights one of the most influential fantasy and horror franchises in Hong Kong cinema. Produced by Tsui Hark, the trilogy helped redefine the supernatural genre across the region. Leslie Cheung, Joey Wang, Jacky Cheung, Michelle Reis, and Tony Leung lead the cast across the films, blending romance, action, and folklore in a style still instantly recognizable today. Only 1,500 copies of the set will be produced.
Video and audio
All three entries in the trilogy are presented in 1080p high definition from new 4K scans, maintaining the original 1.85:1 aspect ratio. Cantonese DTS-HD Master Audio mono is included across all three films, and A Chinese Ghost Story II adds an English DTS-HD Master Audio mono track option. Each film includes optional English subtitles based on new translations.
