All The Presidents Men 4K Steelbook

Warner Bros. has announced a 4K UHD Blu-ray of All the President’s Men (1976) releasing in February. The studio will release both a standard 4K UHD edition and a Limited Edition 4K UHD SteelBook, with both versions releasing on the same date.

Directed by Alan J. Pakula and written by William Goldman, All the President’s Men is based on the 1974 nonfiction book by Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward. The film stars Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman as Washington Post reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, whose investigation into a seemingly minor break-in at the Watergate complex gradually exposes one of the most significant political scandals in United States history. The cast also includes Jack Warden, Martin Balsam, Hal Holbrook, and Jason Robards.

Upon its release, All the President’s Men received widespread critical acclaim and was nominated for eight Academy Awards, winning four, including Best Supporting Actor for Jason Robards, Best Screenplay Based on Material from Another Medium for William Goldman, Best Art Direction, and Best Sound. In 2010, the film was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress for being “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant.”

Video and audio specs

The release features a 4K restoration of the film with an HDR presentation. Optional English SDH, Spanish, and French subtitles are included for the main feature.
