Universal Studios Home Entertainment is releasing A Beautiful Mind (2001) on 4K UHD in February. The release includes a 4K UHD disc, a Blu-ray disc, and a digital copy of the film. The 4K disc features Dolby Vision and HDR10.
Film Overview
Directed by Ron Howard, A Beautiful Mind follows the life of mathematician John Nash from his early days as a graduate student at Princeton to his groundbreaking work in game theory. The film depicts Nash’s growing academic reputation as well as the onset of delusions that lead him to believe he is involved in a secret government mission. As his perception of reality fractures, Nash navigates the challenges posed by his diagnosis while attempting to maintain his career and family life. Russell Crowe stars as Nash, and Jennifer Connelly appears as his wife, whose support becomes central to his path toward stability.
