William Friedkin’s Jade (1995) is coming to 4K UHD this September in a limited edition from Imprint Films. The 3-disc hardbox set includes an exclusive hardback booklet and a wide range of special features. Only 1,500 copies will be available.

Starring Linda Fiorentino, David Caruso, and Chazz Palminteri, the film was written by Joe Eszterhas (Basic Instinct). Jade follows a San Francisco homicide case that spirals into a web of sex, corruption, and crime. Once divisive, the film has since gained a cult following as one of the defining erotic thrillers of the 1990s.

About the film

William Friedkin, director of The French Connection and The Exorcist, brought Jade to the screen from a script by Joe Eszterhas (Basic Instinct). The story combines elements of erotic thriller and crime drama. On release in 1995, the film divided critics and audiences, but it has since built a reputation as a cult title within the genre.
