Criterion Collection March Releases: 4K UHD and Blu-ray Lineup Announced

The Criterion Collection has announced its March releases, which include Viridiana (1961), Testament (1983), Classe tous risques (1960), Killers of the Flower Moon (2023), A Man and a Woman (1966), and The Blade (1995). The lineup consists of four titles releasing on 4K UHD and Blu-ray (Viridiana, Classe tous risques, Killers of the Flower Moon, and The Blade) and two Blu-ray-only releases (Testament and A Man and a Woman), arriving throughout March.

Viridiana (1961)
Luis Buñuel’s Viridiana arrives on 4K UHD and Blu-ray in a new restoration of one of the director’s most controversial films. Banned in Spain and denounced by the Vatican upon its release, the film follows novice nun Viridiana, played by Silvia Pinal, whose attempts to live by her Catholic principles are undermined by her uncle and a group of beggars. The film won the Palme d’Or at the 1961 Cannes Film Festival.
The release features a new 4K digital restoration with an uncompressed monaural soundtrack. The black-and-white presentation is framed at 1.66:1 and runs 91 minutes. The set includes one 4K UHD disc and one Blu-ray disc containing the film and supplemental material.
Bonus features include interviews with actor Silvia Pinal and film scholar Richard Porton, excerpts from a 1964 episode of Cinéastes de notre temps on Buñuel’s early career, the theatrical trailer, and printed material featuring an essay by film scholar Michael Wood alongside an interview with Buñuel.
Viridiana arrives on 4K UHD and Blu-ray on March 10, 2026.

Testament (1983)
Lynne Littman’s Testament arrives on Blu-ray in a director-approved edition that focuses on the aftermath of a nuclear attack through the experience of a single family. Jane Alexander stars as Carol Wetherly, a mother attempting to care for her children as radiation sickness spreads and the surrounding community begins to collapse.
The Blu-ray features a new 4K digital restoration supervised and approved by Littman and director of photography Steven Poster, paired with an uncompressed monaural soundtrack. The film is presented in color at a 1.85:1 aspect ratio and runs 89 minutes.
Supplemental material includes a new conversation between Littman and author Sam Wasson, two documentaries by Littman made in collaboration with anthropologist Barbara Myerhoff, archival programs examining the film’s production and themes, an audio recording of Jane Alexander reading the short story on which the film is based, the theatrical trailer, English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing, and a printed essay by author and film curator Michael Koresky. The release features new artwork based on the original theatrical poster.
Testament arrives on Blu-ray on March 17, 2026.

Classe tous risques (1960)
Claude Sautet’s Classe tous risques returns in a new 4K UHD and Blu-ray edition. The film stars Lino Ventura as fugitive gangland leader Abel Davos, who returns to Paris after years in hiding despite a death sentence hanging over him. Jean-Paul Belmondo appears in a supporting role.
The release is presented from a new 4K digital restoration with an uncompressed monaural soundtrack. The black-and-white film is framed at 1.66:1 and runs 108 minutes. The set includes one 4K UHD disc presented in Dolby Vision HDR and one Blu-ray disc with the film and special features.
Bonus features include excerpts from Claude Sautet, ou La magie invisible, a 2003 documentary on the director by N. T. Binh and Dominique Rabourdin, an interview with novelist and coscreenwriter José Giovanni, archival interview footage featuring Lino Ventura, trailers, and printed material featuring essays by Bertrand Tavernier and N. T. Binh, a reprinted interview with Sautet, and a 1962 tribute by Jean-Pierre Melville.
Classe tous risques arrives on 4K UHD and Blu-ray on March 17, 2026.

Killers of the Flower Moon (2023)
Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon makes its Criterion debut in a director-approved 4K UHD and Blu-ray edition. Adapted from David Grann’s nonfiction book, the film examines the murders of members of the Osage Nation in 1920s Oklahoma following the discovery of oil. The cast includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, and Lily Gladstone.
The release features a new 4K digital master approved by Scorsese and a Dolby Atmos soundtrack. The film is presented in color at a 2.39:1 aspect ratio and runs 206 minutes. The set includes one 4K UHD disc with Dolby Vision HDR and two Blu-ray discs containing the film and supplemental material.
Special features include a new documentary featuring Scorsese, cast members, author David Grann, and representatives of the Osage Nation, a documentary examining the film’s final sequence, archival interviews and festival footage, a short program on the cover art by Noah Kemohah, the theatrical trailer, English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing, English descriptive audio, and printed essays by Vinson Cunningham and Adam Piron.
Killers of the Flower Moon arrives on 4K UHD and Blu-ray on March 24, 2026.

A Man and a Woman (1966)
Claude Lelouch’s A Man and a Woman arrives on Blu-ray featuring a new restoration of the 1966 romantic drama. Set along the Normandy coast, the film follows two widowed parents whose relationship develops over a series of fragmented moments and shifting perspectives.
The Blu-ray features a new 2K digital restoration supervised and approved by Lelouch, with an uncompressed monaural soundtrack. The film runs 103 minutes and is framed at a 1.66:1 aspect ratio.
Bonus features include a new interview with Lelouch, a making-of documentary shot on location, archival footage from the 1966 Cannes Film Festival, Lelouch’s short film C’était un rendez-vous with a new introduction, trailers, a new English subtitle translation, and a printed essay by critic Carrie Rickey. The release features new cover art by Eric Skillman.
A Man and a Woman arrives on Blu-ray on March 31, 2026.

The Blade (1995)
Tsui Hark’s The Blade closes out Criterion’s March releases with a new 4K UHD and Blu-ray edition. A reinterpretation of the one-armed swordsman archetype, the film follows a young sword-maker who becomes an avenger after losing an arm.
The release features a new 4K digital restoration with an uncompressed monaural soundtrack. The film is presented in color at a 1.85:1 aspect ratio and runs 105 minutes. The set includes one 4K UHD disc with Dolby Vision HDR and one Blu-ray disc with the film and special features.
Bonus features include a new audio commentary by Hong Kong cinema expert Frank Djeng, the documentary Action et vérité, a new video essay by Taylor Ramos and Tony Zhou, a New York Asian Film Festival Q&A with Tsui Hark, an alternate English-dubbed track, English-language opening and end credits, the theatrical trailer, a new English subtitle translation, and a printed essay by author Lisa Morton. The edition features cover art by Oliver Barrett.
The Blade arrives on 4K UHD and Blu-ray on March 31, 2026.
