20th Century Studios announced it is releasing Barbarian (2022) on 4K UHD this August. After Zach Cregger's horror debut went without a Blu-ray, 4K, or even a DVD release following its 2022 theatrical run, the film reaches physical media for the first time, packaged as a Limited-Edition Collectible SteelBook with brand-new art by Creepy Duck Design.

Barbarian follows a woman who rents a house on Airbnb and discovers a dark secret inside. It marked the solo feature debut of Cregger, who wrote and directed, and stars Georgina Campbell, Bill Skarsgård, and Justin Long.

The release will include an audio commentary with Cregger and producer Roy Lee, a featurette titled 'Behind Barbarian,' and a selection of deleted scenes.

Retailer Diabolik DVD has cautioned that the SteelBook is "heavily allocated and very limited," adding that it has been told it "won't be guaranteed any number." Pricing remains embargoed for now.

The Barbarian 4K UHD SteelBook releases August 11, 2026, with pre-orders opening July 2.
