Arrow Video is releasing ‘Ms. 45’, a 1981 revenge-thriller, on Blu-ray this October.
‘Ms. 45’, directed by Abel Ferrara and starring Zoë Lund, Steve Singer, and Jack Thibeau, follows a mute seamstress in 1980s New York who turns vigilante after surviving two brutal assaults. Armed with a .45 pistol, she unleashes a violent spree against male predators, transforming trauma into relentless retribution.
The limited edition Blu-ray features a brand new 4K restoration from the original 35mm camera negative, the original lossless mono audio, and optional English subtitles.
Among the many special features are audio commentary by Alexandra Heller-Nicholas, archive interviews with directory Abel Ferrara, composer Joe Delia and creative consultant Jack McIntyre, and two featurettes from film critics BJ Colangelo and Kat Ellinger.
The ‘Ms. 45’ Blu-ray is currently available for pre-order from Arrow in the UK and DiabolikDVD in the US.
