Rent (2005) Comes to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release Rent (2005) on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in the United States on Nov. 18.
The film will be presented in Dolby Vision HDR with a Dolby Atmos soundtrack and an English 5.1 audio option.
About the film
Set in New York City’s East Village, Rent tells the story of a group of bohemians struggling to live and pay their rent.
These artists seek success and acceptance while facing poverty, illness, and the AIDS epidemic.
The film is based on Jonathan Larson’s Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning musical, one of the longest-running shows on Broadway.
It stars Rosario Dawson, Taye Diggs, Wilson Jermaine Heredia, Jesse L. Martin, Idina Menzel, Adam Pascal, Anthony Rapp, and Tracie Thoms.
Chris Columbus directed the film.
