Severin Films has announced Exorcismo: Defying a Dictator & Raising Hell in Post-Franco Spain, a 10-disc region free Blu-ray box set. The collection includes 19 feature films, a 168-page book, and more than 21 hours of bonus features. It also contains the documentary Exorcismo: The Transgressive Legacy of Clasificada S, narrated by Iggy Pop and produced by Severin Films.
Other recent boutique label announcements include Radiance Films’ January 2026 Blu-ray lineup and The House With Laughing Windows 4K Blu-ray from Shameless Films.
A landmark Severin collection
Exorcismo: Defying a Dictator & Raising Hell in Post-Franco Spain includes 18 feature films and one documentary. The titles were released during or after the Franco era, a time when Spanish filmmakers began addressing themes previously restricted under censorship laws. The included documentary Exorcismo: The Transgressive Legacy of Clasificada S (2024), directed by Alberto Sedano and narrated by Iggy Pop, examines the cultural impact of the “Clasificada S” classification in Spain.
