88 Films March Releases

88 Films is releasing seven titles in March. The lineup includes The Protector (1985), Sorority House Massacre (1986), Fade to Black (1980), Sakuran (2006), Stripped to Kill (1987), Shango (1970), and Helter Skelter (2012).

The Protector 4K UHD Blu-ray from 88 Films

The Protector (1985) 4K UHD

88 Films is releasing The Protector (1985) on 4K UHD with all three cuts of the film. The release features new artwork by Sean Longmore.

The story follows NYPD officer Billy Wong after a robbery leaves his partner dead. When the daughter of a powerful figure is kidnapped and taken to Hong Kong, Wong and his partner Danny Garoni pursue the case overseas. Their investigation leads them through criminal networks, assassination attempts, corrupt officials, and a personal web of allies and enemies tied to the crime boss responsible. The two officers close in on the kidnappers as they work to dismantle the operation and rescue the victim.
