Refuse Films Announces TromArchive Series 2 Blu-ray Collection for December 2025

Refuse Films Announces TromArchive Series 2 Blu-ray Collection for December 2025

Refuse Films has announced the second installment of its TromArchive Collection, set for release in December 2025. TromArchive Series 2 will bring Class of Nuke ’Em High (1986), Frank Henenlotter’s Frankenhooker (1990), and the Blu-ray premiere of Decampitated (1999) to collectors in newly prepared limited editions. Each release draws from archival materials in the Troma vaults, presenting alternate cuts, interviews, and historical extras. Like other boutique schedules such as Error 4444’s December Blu-ray lineup and Kino Lorber’s French Noir Collection II, this series highlights how labels are digging deep into film archives for collectors.

TromArchive Collection Series 2 overview

The TromArchive Collection continues with Class of Nuke ‘Em High (1986), Frank Henenlotter’s Frankenhooker (1990), and the world Blu-ray premiere of Decampitated (1999). Each title is limited to 3,000 units, packaged with exclusive slipcovers featuring original poster artwork. All discs are region-free and playable worldwide. Pre-orders are live now, with shipments scheduled for early December 2025.

The release includes three different versions of the film, among them the 96-minute Japanese cut titled Devil’s Poison High School. Deleted material from the USA Up All Night! broadcast cut has been restored. A new commentary from Robert Prichard and a new interview with co-director Lloyd Kaufman join legacy features from earlier editions. Episodes from EDGE TV, Troma Basement, and Tromaville Cafe round out the disc.

Frankenhooker (1990)

Frank Henenlotter’s outrageous cult film appears here in three versions, including a never-before-seen Raw VHS Workprint Cut. James Lorinz contributes a brand-new commentary, and Lloyd Kaufman provides a new distributor interview. Archival features and additional episodes from EDGE TV and Troma Basement are also included.

Decampitated (1999)

Series 2 marks the HD world premiere of Decampitated on Blu-ray. Special features include a new director’s commentary, new interviews with the director and Lloyd Kaufman, and unarchived audition footage. A sales pitch trailer and EDGE TV episodes add further Tromatic context.

Packaging and production details

Each TromArchive title is presented in a strictly limited run of 3,000 units with slipcovers designed from the original theatrical posters. Refuse Films oversaw the restoration and archival process, continuing its mission to preserve rare Troma productions and make them accessible to collectors. Recent collector’s editions such as The Men of Sherwood Forest 4K UHD show the same commitment to restoration and historical preservation.

Final thoughts

TromArchive Series 2 offers three cornerstone Troma films with exhaustive extras and newly unearthed footage. The collection will ship in early December 2025 and is available now for pre-order through RefuseFilms.com.
