Vinegar Syndrome is releasing Troll 2 (1990) on 4K UHD and Blu-ray. The release presents the cult film in a new 4K restoration and includes a limited slipcase and slipcover combo.

Film Overview

Troll 2 follows the Waits family as they travel to the rural town of Nilbog for a quiet stay. Joshua Waits senses danger after receiving warnings from the ghost of his late Grandpa Seth, who tells him that the town is inhabited by goblins pretending to be human. When the family arrives, they encounter unusual behavior, green-tinted food, and a growing threat from the goblins and their queen.

The film is directed by Claudio Fragasso and stars Michael Stephenson, George Hardy, Margo Prey, Connie Young, and Robert Ormsby. It was filmed in Utah with a mostly local cast and has since developed a global cult reputation.

Video and Audio Specs

The 4K UHD disc is presented in Dolby Vision High Dynamic Range and is newly scanned and restored in 4K from the 35mm original camera negative. The feature is presented in 1.85:1 aspect ratio with English 5.1 Surround audio.
