The Wild Geese (1978), starring Richard Burton, Roger Moore, and Richard Harris, comes to 4K UHD in a 3-disc limited edition set on December 8, 2025. Similar to Severin’s recent Exorcismo box set announcement, this edition offers a full restoration and a comprehensive collector’s package. The set features a 4K restoration from the original camera negative and more than nine hours of special features across UHD, Blu-ray, and CD.

About the film

Directed by Andrew V. McLaglen and produced by Euan Lloyd, The Wild Geese follows aging mercenaries hired to rescue a deposed African leader from prison. Their mission soon becomes a fight to escape under heavy fire. The film was written by Reginald Rose (12 Angry Men) and co-stars Hardy Kruger and Stewart Granger, with a score by Roy Budd (Get Carter).

4K restoration and presentation

The feature has been newly scanned in 4K from the original camera negative. The UHD disc presents the film in its 1.66:1 aspect ratio with restored picture quality and multiple commentary options.
