The Ice Storm Blu-ray From STUDIOCANAL Arrives in the UK This November
Ang Lee’s The Ice Storm makes its long-awaited UK Blu-ray debut from STUDIOCANAL this November, arriving alongside a Digital release. The suburban drama is set in 1973 Connecticut and examines the fallout from the sexual revolution through two neighboring families.
Release Date and Formats
The Blu-ray and Digital editions are scheduled for November 24, 2025 in the UK. Pre-orders are available now on Amazon.
Film and Accolades
Adapted from Rick Moody’s bestselling novel, The Ice Storm earned Best Screenplay at the Cannes Film Festival for writer James Schamus and competed for the Palme d’Or. Sigourney Weaver went on to win the BAFTA Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance.
