Culture Shock Releasing is releasing The Summoned (1992) and Wasteland Justice (1999) on Blu-ray. Both films arrive on disc with new commentaries, interviews, and restorations sourced from original tape elements.
Description
The Summoned (1992) follows Jenny Harris, a young woman trapped in an unhappy marriage who becomes involved in occult rituals through her neighbor Rebecca. Her attempt to conjure a fantasy lover leads to the appearance of an incubus responsible for a series of violent deaths. The cast includes Ashlie Rhey, Gwen Somers, Neil Delama, Joe Estevez, Michelle Bauer, Jeff Burr, James Adam Tucker, and Robert Z’Dar.
Wasteland Justice (1999) takes place in a post-apocalyptic landscape ruled by the violent outlaw Tarnak. After a deadly confrontation leaves Jenna’s husband killed and her sister taken, she teams up with bounty hunter Matrix to hunt Tarnak. The cast includes Vernon Wells, Kira Reed, LoriDawn Messuri, Nils Allen Stewart, William Smith, Michael Christian, Peter Brown, Julie Strain, and Robert Z’Dar.
Both films are sourced from original tape elements that have been scanned and restored, and presented together on a single Blu-ray . The release is region free and includes newly created subtitles.
