About Student Bodies (1981)

A send-up of every slasher cliché in the book, Student Bodies follows a mysterious killer known as “The Breather,” who begins picking off students at Lamab High School in absurd and over-the-top ways. Amid the chaos, Toby (Kristen Riter) works to unmask the murderer before becoming the next victim.

Brimming with sight gags, one-liners, and intentionally low-budget charm, the film parodies the horror genre with the same irreverent energy Airplane! brought to disaster movies. Co-starring Matthew Goldsby, the movie has since earned a cult following among fans of both horror and comedy.

Details of the 4K UHD Release

This marks the first-ever 4K UHD release of Student Bodies anywhere in the world. Terror Vision has created a brand-new scan and restoration, presented in Dolby Vision and fully region free. The label notes that previous home video editions were barebones, but this new version is loaded with extras.

Packaging and Booklet

The release comes housed in a rigid box featuring newly commissioned artwork by “Ghoulish” Gary Pullin.
A perfect bound booklet is included, with essays from Gene Hobson, Alexandra Heller-Nicholas, Clint Kelly, Stephanie Crawford, and Terror Vision’s Brad Henderson.
