Sorority House Massacre 4K Blu-ray from 88 Films

88 Films is releasing Sorority House Massacre (1986) on 4K UHD in March as part of the label’s Slasher Classics Collection, joining the label's other March releases. The release features a 4K restoration sourced from the original 35 mm camera negative and includes both a 4K UHD disc and Blu-ray disc.

Film Overview

Directed by Carol Frank, who previously directed The Slumber Party Massacre (1982), Sorority House Massacre (1986) blends slasher elements with a paranormal twist. The story centers on Beth, a young woman who survived the massacre of her family at the hands of her brother and carries a mental block that obscures the details of the event.

Years later, while studying at college, Beth moves into a sorority house that feels unsettlingly familiar and begins experiencing déjà vu and disturbing visions that may connect to her brother. As Beth’s sense of recognition grows stronger, the possibility of a psychic link to her institutionalized brother becomes more apparent. At the same time, unexplained killings begin around the sorority house, and the group of students finds itself caught in the middle of a new wave of violence tied to Beth’s past.
