Visual Vengeance will release Ozone: Attack of the Redneck Mutants on Blu-ray this January. This is the film’s first Blu-ray release, sourced from a director-approved SD master created from the original tape elements.
About the film
Directed by Matt Devlen and produced by Bret McCormick (The Abomination), Ozone: Attack of the Redneck Mutants follows a small Texas town after the ozone layer is damaged, turning residents into mutants. The story centers on environmental science student Arlene and hitchhiker Kevin as they try to survive the outbreak.
Originally distributed on VHS in the late 1980s, the film is notable for its regional roots, practical effects, and handmade production style. This Blu-ray edition marks its first release on disc.
