Mondo Macabro will release 'The Power of Darkness', a rare Argentinian horror film, on Blu-ray this August.
The Power of Darkness (1976), directed by Mario Sabato, follows Fernando Vidal as buried childhood memories trigger a descent into paranoia and surreal horror in Buenos Aires. Haunted by visions and pursued by a secret society of the blind, Fernando enters a shadowy labyrinth seeking answers that may not exist.
Mondo Macabro's Blu-ray is the first English-friendly release of the film, which has been restored in 2K from the original negative.
It is limited to 1,000 copies and will go on sale Thursday, August 7 at 9 AM Pacific/ 12 PM Eastern at https://mondomacabro.bigcartel.com/.
