New Label Petroglyph Media Debuts with Jairo Pinilla Double Feature Blu-ray including 'Funeral Siniestro' & 'Triángulo De Oro'
Petroglyph Media, a new boutique label, released Colombian director Jairo Pinilla's Funeral Siniestro (1977) and Triángulo De Oro (1985) on limited edition Blu-ray.
Funeral Siniestro (1977) is an atmospheric, slow-burning horror story about a young girl left behind at her family’s hacienda to face both her cruel stepmother and unsettling supernatural forces. It was restored in 2K from Fundación Patrimonio Fílmico Colombiano's 35MM theatrical exhibition print, the only surviving film element available.
Triángulo De Oro (1985) channels the pulpy spirit of Indiana Jones, complete with carnivorous plants, radioactive statues, and kung fu bar brawls in a high-stakes treasure hunt adventure. The film was transferred from a 1" tape master from Mr. Pinilla's private collection.
The Jairo Pinilla double feature limited edition blu-ray includes an embossed slipcover with artwork by Juan José Saldarriaga, Spanish Mono audio tracks with optional English subtitles for both films, and is strictly limited to 1,000 units.
Due to contractual obligations, this release is only available to ship within the United States. It is currently available to order from Petroglyph Media's website.
