Island of the Doomed Blu-ray Limited Edition from Mondo Macabro

Mondo Macabro will release Island of the Doomed on Blu-ray as a numbered limited red-case edition during its annual Halloween sale. The film is also known as Island of the Dead and Maneater of Hydra.
The release follows recent Mondo Macabro announcements including a two-disc Blu-ray set pairing Mystics in Bali with Queen of Black Magic, and the worldwide 4K debut of The Devil’s Nightmare.

The Region Free Blu-ray features a 4K restoration sourced from the best available 35 mm materials. Viewers can choose Spanish or English audio with optional English subtitles.

Story synopsis
A group of tourists arrives at a small island off the coast of Spain to tour the botanical gardens of Baron von Weser. The island’s residents have fled after a string of unexplained deaths. When a fatal incident occurs, the Baron blames a rare and incurable disease. Overnight, new victims are found with their blood drained, raising the question of whether a killer is at large or something even more dangerous.
