Plot of Fear (1976) arrives on 4K UHD and Blu-ray in the UK from Indicator on October 22. Directed by Paolo Cavara, the film stars Corinne Cléry, Michele Placido, Tom Skerritt, and Eli Wallach in a dark and twisted thriller.
Inspector Lomenzo investigates a string of bizarre murders, each linked by a page from the German children’s book Shock-Headed Peter left at the crime scenes. Guided by a fashion model and a surveillance expert, Lomenzo is led into a decadent underworld frequented by the elite.
Co-written by Bernadino Zapponi, a long-time collaborator of Federico Fellini, the film also features a unique erotic animation sequence by Francesco Maurizio Guido, also known as Gibba.
Plot of Fear is a disturbing and gripping giallo, and it is currently available for pre-order.
Indicator also revealed that Hitch-Hike (1977) will be coming to Blu-ray and 4K UHD in October.
