Helter Skelter (2012) Blu-ray coming from 88 Films

88 Films will release Helter Skelter (2012) on Blu-ray this March in the UK and US as part of the label’s Japanarchy Collection.
Helter Skelter (2012), directed by Mika Ninagawa and adapted from Kyoko Okazaki’s acclaimed manga, is a lurid descent into the collapse of manufactured beauty and celebrity identity. Erika Sawajiri stars as Lilico, a top model whose fame relies on an intricately curated, hyperreal persona built through airbrushed media images and repeated illegal cosmetic surgeries. When the physical and psychological toll of those procedures begins to surface, her meticulously constructed public image fractures, plunging her into a surreal breakdown.
The Blu-ray features a high-definition presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio, with the original stereo audio track and newly created English subtitles.
