Date With A Vampire coming to Blu-ray from Visual Vengeance
Visual Vengeance is bringing Date With A Vampire to Blu-ray for the first time, presenting Jeffrey Arsenault’s lo-fi erotic vampire tale with a new SD master from the original tape elements. This release also includes the bonus 2002 SOV feature Blood Craving.
Film Overview
Date With A Vampire follows Violet, a seductive vampire who prowls the city at night, luring men and women into her world of erotic indulgence and bloodlust. When she meets Chuck, a lonely young man drawn in by her charm and danger, their flirtation spirals into a hypnotic seduction that pulls him deeper into her orbit. Shot during the height of the SOV era, the film blends late-’90s softcore erotica and horror. It was directed by Jeffrey Arsenault (Night Owl), written by Kevin J. Lindenmuth, and features an appearance by cult horror actor Joe Zaso.
